Conversation Class

Here is the schedule for the conversation class this week.

Tuesday - Flatmates.
What do you look for in a flatmate? What are the best /worst characteristics in a flatmate?
What problems can happen between flatmates?
Have you had any bad experiences living with other people?
Watch this video, have you ever experienced anything similar?

Wednesday - Privacy.
Is it OK for an employer to ask personal questions (about your religion, your political opinions,  your sexuality, your age, your past, your health etc)
What do you think about CCTV?
How private are you? Do you share a lot of information about yourself with others or are you a 'closed book'?
Have you ever read / heard about a book called '1984'? What happens?
Watch this youtube video, what do you think?
What are 'cookies' on your computer? What do you think about them?

Thursday - Movies
What are your favourite movies? What movies do you hate?
What movie genres do you like (comedy, horror etc)?
Can you describe the plot (story) of your favourite movie?
Do you prefer Hollywood movies or movies from your country?
Who is your favourite actor / actress?
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would play you?

Friday - Student Presidents!
Imagine you could change some things about Delfin, what would you change?
You will compete against other groups to be the 'presidents' of Delfin. You will create a manifesto detailing what you will change and why other students should choose your group! Maybe you want more parties, maybe your want less students in each class. It's up to you!
You will present your ideas and 'election promises' in a presentation at the end of class and we will have a vote to decide which group will win.
(There may even be some prizes ;-)

Thanks everyone,

Hannah
