Happy Saint David's Day Everyone!
Today is a special day in my country so in celebration we began the day learning a bit of Welsh and wearing our daffodils. Look... even Google.co.uk is celebrating with us...
As usual we took our test (sorry Paul I forgot to tell you...you got the highest score and I will give you your Delfin dollar on Monday, well done!)
After break we studied pronouns. First we looked at subject and object pronouns. Here is a picture of the board.
Next we looked at possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns.
Remember: After a possessive adjective we need a noun (It is my pen)
We use a possessive pronoun alone (The pen is mine)
(OK guys...you might have noticed.. I spelled 'possessive' incorrectly..oops! Sorry!)
Your homework for the weekend is to write an essay (no less than 150 words) about your family.
And finally... This week we say goodbye to Mayerling and Edgard who are moving up to the next level, congratulations guys and WELL DONE! Come and visit us!
We also say goodbye to Igor. I have taught Igor for a long time since Elementary level and I am really sad to see him go.
